About Horizon Drive District

The Horizon Drive District:  

  • oversees capital improvements that ensure the safety and beauty of the I-70 Gateway to Grand Junction at Horizon Drive,
  • communicates with and represents the District to Grand Junction’s City Council and other governmental entities, and
  • facilitates the development of Horizon Drive District master planning.
The Horizon Drive Business Improvement District (BID) was formed in 2004 by Horizon Drive area property owners.  The District is comprised of commercial properties along the Horizon Corridor (Horizon Drive between G Road and I-70 and I-70 and H Road) and those on Crossroads Boulevard, Compass Drive, Printers Court, Skyline Court and Horizon Court.  The District's efforts are funded through voluntary taxing of the District's commerical real and personal properties.
 
The District’s Board of Directors is committed to investing in the economic development and improvement of the District.  Their vision is to do so through leadership, advocacy and preservation.
