Join the Board of Directors!

The Horizon Drive Business Improvement District invites applications from individuals interested in serving on the Board of Directors.  Appointments to the Horizon Drive District board are made by City Council for a term of four (4) years. The time required is approximately five hours monthly. Monthly board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  Prospective board members must own or lease property, or work for an owner or lessee within the District.

Applications received by March 6, 2012 will be evaluated by the present board on March 9, 2012. The board will forward their recommendation for board appointment to City Council by March 16, 2012. After recommendation by the District, City Council may accept the District’s recommendation or may continue selection process, including interviews. Ultimately, Council will complete the appointment process by April, 2012.

Join our monthly meetings!

Monthly board meetings are open to the public and are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.   Generally, the meetings will occur in the second floor conference room at 2764 Compass Drive, Grand Junction, CO.  On some occasions, the meeting may be moved to another location to better accommodate the expected number of attendees.  Changes will be posted to this website.  Please contact Victoria Patsantaras, District representative, 970-985-1833, if you have any questions.
