Board Member need for the Horizon Drive District.   The Horizon Drive Business Improvement District invites applications from individuals interested in serving on the Board of Directors.

Appointments to the Horizon Drive District board are made by City Council for a term of four (4) years. The time required is approximately five hours monthly. Monthly board meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Prospective board members must own or lease property, or work for an owner or lessee within the District. For more details on the District and its’ mission, please visit www.HorizonDriveDistrict.com

Applications received by March 6 will be evaluated by the present board on March 9, 2012. The board will forward their recommendation for board appointment to City Council by March 16, 2012. After recommendation by the District, City Council may accept the District’s recommendation or may continue selection process, including interviews. Ultimately, Council will complete the appointment process by April, 2012.
