In 2011 the District continued to fulfill its mission to build community, enhance the beauty and advocate for the economic vitality of the Horizon area.  We're pleased to bring you a snapshot of this year's accomplishments:

• Impact Study - a joint project with Colorado Mesa University, this study substanties the importance of the HDD to the community, prospective investors and policymakers. 
• Corridor Plans and future capital Improvments - more than a beautiful idea, the preliminary Corridor Plan includes improvements to pedestrian travel, traffic flow and signage.  This is a large project that has goals and milestones set throughout 2012.  Keep in touch to stay informed!
• Strategic Plan - a two year roadmap, this document will give you insights about future planning and goals.  Constituent input is always welcome.
• A new website brings you the important news and updates you need to stay informed.
