Who we are

The Horizon Drive District (HDD) is a nonprofit organization formed as a business improvement district (BID).  The District is made up of and represents commercial property owners along Horizon Drive, Crossroads Boulevard, Compass Drive, Printers Court, Skyline Court and Horizon Court.  (See Boundaries page for a map of the District.)

The role of the District is to oversee capital improvements, represent District property owners and businesses operating within the District, and faciliate planning for the area.

The District is managed by a seven member Board of Directors, appointed by Grand Junction City Council.  The Board members volunteer to serve terms of four years, serving the best interests of the District members. The governing body oversees capital improvements, ensures the business park remains clean and safe for visitors and the people who work there, and facilitates planning for the Horizon Drive District.
